1953: Breakthrough in the kitchen market with the fitted kitchen

Pioneer of the fitted kitchen: Dassbach is commissioned by the Berlin Senate to develop a kitchen compatible with social housing. Under strict standards and quality specifications, the "Sozialwerk kitchen" finally went into series production in 1953, which is considered the archetype of today's fitted kitchen. 1973: Dassbach kitchens now also for private customers

The long tradition, success and high quality of kitchen construction do not go unnoticed: Dassbach is thus taken over by the Bauknecht Foundation in 1973. With the new millennium, Dassbach sets new standards in the direction of kitchen factory sales. For the first time, the factory showroom at the Dahlewitz facility enables private customers to have their kitchen planned directly by the manufacturer. On more than 2,000 square meters of exhibition space, Dassbach offers an unprecedented variety of kitchen fronts, kitchen cabinets, countertops and everything needed for the perfect kitchen. The Dassbach success story continues

The large kitchen selection and the variety of planning options lead to high visitor numbers. More and more customers take advantage of the newly created opportunity to have their kitchen planned directly by the manufacturer and then marvel at it in the Dassbach 3D kitchen cinema. Following the successful development of the Berlin market, Dassbach Kitchens factory outlet expands beyond the borders of the capital - in Haan near Düsseldorf, Dassbach opens a 1250-square-meter showroom in 2004.
